About Orthotics

Do you suffer from Chronic Heel Pain, Bunion Pain, Achilles Tendonitis or just plain sore feet after standing for periods of time?  Do you suffer from Low Back, Hip and/or Knee pain?

Are Custom Made Orthotics Right For You?

What Are Foot Orthotics?

Foot orthotics, often simply referred to as orthotics, are specialized, custom made shoe inserts designed to support and improve the function of feet and lower limbs. They are commonly used to alleviate low back, hip, knee and foot pain, correct biomechanical issues, and enhance overall comfort and mobility.

Our Orthotics are manufactured by PedBasis Laboratory

PedBasis Laboratory is a local, pedorthist-owned and operated orthotics lab that has been providing custom-made orthotics to clinics since 2014. Their team has over 50 years of combined experience in the industry, and are dedicated to providing medical practitioners with the best possible service and products!

PedBasis Laboratory provides us with innovative German TruDepth scanning technology in conjunction with an iPad, that can capture your foot structure in a “weight bearing”and “non weight bearing” position with remarkable accuracy. We are able to thoroughly capture your foot width and length, arch height and heel position while standing and sitting.  In conjunction with the doctor performing a biomechanical examination on you, we are able to determine if you require a custom made foot orthotic.

Benefits of Foot Orthotics

  • Pain Relief: Orthotics can alleviate foot, ankle, knee, and lower back pain by correcting alignment issues and reducing pressure on affected areas.
  • Improved Function: By supporting proper foot alignment and distributing weight evenly, orthotics can improve walking and running mechanics, enhancing overall mobility and performance.
  • Preventive Care: Orthotics can prevent the progression of foot deformities, reduce the risk of injuries, and promote long-term foot health, especially in individuals with structural abnormalities or conditions like diabetes.
